These steps are intended to provide a broad picture of the process of becoming a homeowner at Ferncliff Village. The steps are listed in approximate order and may not be inclusive of all requirements to purchase a Ferncliff Village home.
Step 1 Attend an homebuyer orientation session. Check the orientation schedule and call HRB at (206)842.1909 7# to make an appointment.
Step 2 Complete and turn in the application (this include $200 application fee)
Step 3 If eligible, HRB will add you to the waitlist
Step 4 Work with HRB toward ownership including:
- Financing
- House and lot selection
- Attend 8 hour Homebuyer Education Class (www.wshfc.org)
- Work volunteer hours and participate in Homeowners Association
Step 5 Enter into Purchase and Sale Agreement
Step 6 House is constructed
Step 7 Close and move in!
